HOLISTIC HORIZONS About the Institute
Holistic Horizons is a learning institute to foster the study of the Healing Arts. Specific courses of study include: Massage Therapy & Bodywork Reflexology Energy Work & Reiki Spa Therapies Stress Management Time Management Therapeutic Exercise Infant & Pregnancy Massage
We are approved by the State of Iowa, the National Certification
The school was founded in 1998. The curriculum has been expanded and was updated in 2005 to meet the new requirements set forth by the NCTMB.
The curriculum is 650 (+) hours and is unique in that the graduate will also have earned a minimum of 18-21 hours of college credit in conjunction with their bodywork certification. (This equals one third of an associate degree!)
Holistic Horizons has developed their curriculum to meet the needs of today’s demanding schedules. Module scheduling is used to help students to pace themselves according to their abilities and time constraints. The curriculum is wide and varied. Holistic Horizons has been selected (each year since inception of the school) to participate in the School Issues Forum! This is hosted annually by the ABMP. Each year approximately 50 schools (out of 1100 nationwide) are selected to attend.
Holistic Horizons prides itself on small class sizes. We are selective in our enrollment process to assure successful practitioners! |
