About the Instructors

 

Holistic Horizons prides itself on using qualified instructors for it classes.  This is one reason why they have partnered with the local community colleges.  The colleges employ instructors who hold a degree in the area that they teach.  (Many other massage schools employ only LMT’s to teach their classes.  This is why courses taken through another massage school may not transfer towards a college degree.)

 

Currently the following instructors are approved for these respective classes:

 

Module 1:    April Budzyn, LMT; Rhonda Reif Moore, MBA, LMT, RM

Module 2:    A/P:  Southeastern Community College

Module 3:    Business:  Iowa Wesleyan College, Rhonda Reif, MBA.

Module 4:    Pathology:  IWC, varies.

Module 5:    Kinesiology:  IWC, varies.

Module 6:    Psychology:  SCC, varies.   IWC, varies.

Module 7:    CPR/First Aid:  SCC, varies.

Module 8:    Electives:  Rhonda Reif, MBA, LMT, RM.

                      Water Aerobics: YMCA & YWCA

                           Tai Chi:  YMCA & YWCA

                      Yoga:  “Yoga for You”

Module 9:    Practicum: April Budzyn, LMT; Rhonda Reif, MBA, LMT,

                      Business 2:  Rhonda Reif Moore, MBA. LMT, RM

Module 10:  Misc. Options:  Varies based on choices selected.
